Working

So far this week, I have managed to..........

Cause the head of operations to call his father/owner to ask him why he was sticking his nose in the operations because I mis-identified an executive for the owner.

Accidentally hit the wrong IM person and sent a message complaining about a co-worker not working on anything important by sending it to the very person who wasn't working on anything important.  Great way to get your point across, in a very bad way.

And the best was when I was wondering if a co-workers wife was still out of town since I received an email from her (she also works there).  However I managed to ask the question at a really inappropriate time.

Guy:  "Oh, I forgot, I have to go home to let the dog out."
Me:  "I thought Jenny was out of town."

Took me a full 5 seconds to realize why it seemed as if I had thrown a grenade in the room. 

I claim sleep deprivation.  75 hour week with about 10 hours sleep. 

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
