For about a month now, our 7 year old granddaughter has found that her IPod will allow her to FaceTime.
So we never know when our phones will suddenly get several texts right in a row that read like this:
Hi.
Want to FaceTime?
Go.
There is little gap between the texts and what we love is she believes we are always somewhere where we can immediately be at her beck and call. It's quite entertaining.
Currently we are at our place in Fort Myers. We are installing some permanent hurricane shutters on the lanai (screened porch) and windows next week.
Our favorite fish market on the bay went out of business last May, so we found a shrimp market and stopped on the way home from the beach.
I came home, took my shower while Bob went to Costco and then to the pool. I boiled up some shrimp, adding lemon and fresh rosemary to the water. Cooled off the shrimp in an ice bath and just had four drenched in lemon. I never use cocktail sauce with fresh shrimp. Why hide the wonderful shrimp taste.
Watching The Five and gonna head over to the island for a bite to eat.
I'm just trying to imagine what it might be like when/if we actually DO get to come here for the winter.
