The Bucket List

Yesterday I was surprised by my family with a party for my upcoming BIG birthday. Last night we decided to watch a previously DVR'd The Bucket List. Kinda appropriate, don't you think?

So, maybe I should be thinking of my Bucket List. What haven't I done that I could possibly do between now and the time of the bucket?

The first is that on April 16th, I will be leaving for a trip to Italy with my sister and nephew. We've been planning the trip for months and now it's getting close and real. I've traveled a little, but anytime it's been out of the country, it was either a cruise or to Cancun, so very touristy and very safe.

We'll be flying into NY, then straight to Venice. Three nights there and some number of trains into Cinque Terre. I first heard of Cinque Terre several months ago from a guy at the airport who told me he and his wife loved it. Three nights and then to an agristurismo (working farm) in Volterra (Tuscany). Three nights there and onto Rome. Six nights, with hopefully a day trip to Pompeii. Then it'll be Rome to NY to Indy and back to reality.

So, about that bucket list. Where do I start, where would you start? Some considerations:

Be someone's hero.
Live my faith, every day, every minute
Take a hot air balloon ride
See the Great Barrier Reef
Go visit Saumil and Kruti in India
Take Bob to Washington DC
Go to Rapha House in Cambodia
Take a missionary trip
Spend more time with friends and family
Retire
Take a real white water rafting trip

I'm sure I'll think of others, any ideas anyone?
