I may have been a lot of things , but cool, confident, carefree or outgoing was not among them.
I had to get a long way out of high school before I could even guess what those words might mean.

Yep, me too. Some of us are just happy to have survived and discovered we really could find a life after high school.
Life was a breeze after that. Well not really, but you know what I mean.
At least high school was a little better than junior high. No one picked on me in high school, they just ignored me. Why must kids of middle school age be so cruel?
None of those apply to me today. sigh

I have all of those traits. Unfortunately, they didn't develop until last year.
Next year, I'm determined to fine tune my curmudgeon tendencies and start telling children to stay off my lawn.

I'm pretty sure I'm more gutsy now than I need to be. A least it hasn't gotten me into too much trouble yet.
