It is a sad day in racing. I watched the whole thing on TV. RIP indeed.

We were watching, and when Joe commented on how much hugging was going on in the backside, I said "THEY know already, and it's not good."

It is a dangerous sport.

If you need a laugh google Occupy occupy Wall Street. These guys are hysterical. It may be that the protesters have finally got a funny bone. However, watching two comedians rant about bankers having to give up their cocaine habits if these protests continue is hysterical.

Whoever these guys are they are funny.

Dana: I wasn't in front of the tv when the accident occurred, but my nephew sent me a text. I watched as the race was halted, but I will be an eternal optimist and kept hoping until the final word. He was such a cute kid. I remember one of the Indy 500 Banquets after he won, everyone was poking fun at him. He, like all them, knew the danger. But I bet the Indy cars quit racing the smaller tracks.

Beak, Since we've been locked in with soaking rain visiting our vacation home in Fort Myers, I've been "watching" the Occupy Soap Opera in Indianapolis.

Yes, sad but true, it is entertaining. They are a true case study as to why communism never works. Complained about the "homeless" taking their food and now some guy has taken all their food and supplies and decided to ration them out. It's almost as if their entire scenario was some kind of badly written play to prove that their beliefs are just insane.

But at least in Indy, they are harmless. They've been keeping their little "occupied" space clean and have not occupied anything other than some precious air.

If you google Occupy Occupy Wall Street there are some comedians who are lampooning the protesters. The protesters are hateful stoners, but the guys at Occupy Occupy Wall Street are hysterical. When these guys were complaining the protests are going to cut into their cocaine habits I fell out of my chair.

These guys are comedic geniuses.

I had to blog this to when it happened.....what a happy family life he seemed to have and two little boys without a father.
What a catastrophe. God bless him and his family.

They held a memorial yesterday in Indianapolis for him. It was televised, but I missed it since I'm in Fort Myers right now. I just caught a quick video of the ending. Garth Brooks was there at the end, singing, "The Dance". I'm sure there was not a dry eye in the house.

Just sad.
