And of course we ALL say it, don't we? Why is it when we're young, days and weeks just drag but as we get older we watch as the years fly by.
I wish everyone the best of 2012.
May we all keep our health and our loved ones close.
May we all find more to laugh about than to cry.
May we all find our friends when we're deliriously happy and have them at our side when we're not.
May we all live every day in the new leap year as if it could be our last.
May we all cherish the laughter of the babies and children and savor their innocence.
May we all remember each day to appreciate the freedoms bought by the blood of our soldiers
May we all remember each day to thank the Lord for our salvation bought by the blood of Jesus.
Happy New Year my friends.

I have an analytical mind, which has lead me to wonder if age, and the perception of time, are the result of an actual physical phenomenom. Where we think it's only a perception, the time reference of an older human may actually be different, due to the increased electromagnetic processes of an older brain. Who knows? Maybe a future scientist will win a Nobel Prize due their research on this subject.
Anyway, the start of another year is a point where we start with a new chapter. May this chapter be fruitful, full of good moments and leave a satisfaction that lasts forever.
Happy New Year!
I'm just glad 2011 is over. It started out very good but the last quarter sucked used tampons. 2012 has to be better. Especially yours. I hope you have a wonderful year ahead.
Thx guys. I'm laughing at the variety of your comments, Jess talking about electromagnetic processes and Coffey talking about tampons.
Happy New Year to you both. I'm just hoping my political junky pastime doesn't overwhelm my senses in 2012.
And we get to an economic climate where I can find a stinking JOB!
For some reason I've never seen a New Year's Eve without saying "Thank god THAT year is over!"
Then New Year's Day appears and if you're not sick, you're gonna be. If your car is working, it won't be by nightfall, and I swear there's an asteroid heading my way right now....
Beautiful words ... and yes, MAN, I was told years ago "time goes faster when you're older" I didn't know it road a SKATE BOARD! woooosh!
HAPPY NEW YEAR, my new friend; God bless you and yours.
xxxx
Happy New Year little sister, Love you!

The best of everything in the coming year!

Dana: Ya, I know exactly what you mean. This year I've been blessed with less drama, but less of a career than I've had in 30 years.
Z: I can still hear my dad's words ringing in my ears. When I was 14 I said I couldn't wait until I was 16. He said, "Don't wish your life away." I didn't listen then and I just can't seem to thinking everything I really want is two years away. Never figured out the beauty of living for today.
CnC: I love you too, but JoJo's right about your lasagna. Thx for having us over. We're so blessed with the best family ever.
cj: I hope 2012 brings you the best. And it brings us a new president, but not one named Ron Paul.
And a Happy New Year to you, too.
Years ago, when I was probably in my early forties, I told my mother that I felt like time was moving faster as I got older. She turned to me, looking shocked, and said, "You don't feel that way ALREADY, do you?"
It's true. Don't let anyone tell you it's all in your head. Must be something to do with Global Warming. (LOL.)
Happy New Year, and thanks for letting me enjoy your posts.
Thx DD and Bab. Happy New Year to you.
