When we were still only 48.



Who couldn't love Red Skelton?  

I wish I had appreciated this time back "in the day".  And I wish we could have entertainers like this again.

I remember how he ended each show "and may God bless" can you imagine how Hollywood would treat this man today?

Hoosier boy, born and raised in Vincennes. Gentle to the core. I'm sure you've seen the story written by the gal that woke in the hospital to find him sitting next to her, providing comfort when she was a child, facing a dangerous surgery.
We could sure use more like him today.
