GB: Before I comment, let me make it clear, I firmly believe that the man who murdered Tiller is evil.
As a Christian, I would never support his actions and I do not know of one Christian who does. And I despise that he gave a voice to the liberal left that say all pro-life movement encourages this crime.
That out of the way, I believe Tiller was a murderer of the most innocent and vulnerable life. It's obvious that he believed that he was more capable than Christ himself about who should live or die.
I also believe that there are way too many "Christian" churchs that are not.....that are NOT, Christian. I would equate this church that he helped lead to be no more Christian than the lunatics at the "Baptist" nutjob church in Kansas who picket the soldiers funerals.
I was overwhelmed by this woman's post. After reading it, I wanted to take her in my arms and not talk politics, not talk right and wrong, not talk at all, but simply hold her in my arms and make it all go away for her.
I do not know her. I just happened upon her blog from links from other blogs.
But I just think she needs a hug. and I feel like I need to hug her. I only wish she and so many others had been as blessed as I was with a wonderful mother and father.
I am trying to keep politics out of this blog, but to me, this isn't politics. This is about murder, and I'm not just referring to the man who killed Tiller.
Standing before our Maker some day, I would much rather be the man who murdered Tiller, than Tiller himself who murdered thousands of the most innocent of all. Tiller was a greedy evil ghoul who sold his soul many years ago, but like you said Rita, I don't think killing Tiller does anything to help the unborn. There are many more so-called doctors who will step in his place to continue the slaughter.
I'm not so sure of that, C... Apparently there were only three "Doctors" practicing that ghastly act in the U.S., including Tiller. That leaves two, and those guys will be furtively looking over their shoulders now. I like that they'll be worried. That's as it should be.
I saw in the news today that Tiller's family said the clinic will not re-open. Maybe your right GB. I wish that video that Rita posted a while back that was very graphic about this would get airtime. but they would never show something like that on TV. I wonder why? what was the title of that vid Rita?
Interestingly enough, youtube pulled the video. Surprise surprise. Below are the "community standards" youtube posts. I don't suppose they pulled it because of their standards not allowing videos showing someone being physically hurt or attacked.
So that leaves that they most likely pulled it because "gross-out videos of accidents, dead bodies or similar things intended to shock or disgust."
So yeah, I guess it DID show dead bodies because abortions are certainly NOT accidents.

(CNSNews.com) – The niece of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., on Tuesday condemned the remarks of late-term abortionist LeRoy Carhart in comparing the recent murder of abortionist George Tiller to King’s assassination.
"This is the equivalent of Martin Luther King being assassinated," the Washington Times quoted Carhart as saying. "This is the equivalent of Pearl Harbor, the sinking of the Lusitania and any other major historic event where we've tolerated the intolerable for too long."
"For LeRoy Carhart to mention the murder of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., who worked through peaceful and non-violent means, in the same breath with that of George Tiller, whose work ended peace and brought violence to babies in the womb, is offensive beyond belief," Dr. Alveda King, pastoral associate of Priests for Life, said in a statement. "The analogy is just wrong."
Carhart said there was “absolutely no difference in putting a cross in front of a person's home because of what race they belong to than there is putting a cross in front of our homes because we do abortions,” the Times quoted him as saying.
He claimed that pro-life activists placed crosses in front of Tiller’s clinic in Wichita, Kan. Carhart worked at the clinic on a rotating three-week schedule to assist with late-term abortions.
Carhart also called on the government to treat all activities by “anti-choice domestic terrorists” as hate crimes.
"Dr. Carhart also speaks of hate crimes," added Dr. King. "I would simply ask him, is it not hateful to regard an entire class of people as non-human because they're unwanted?"
"The message of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was that every human being has equal dignity. LeRoy Carhart and every other abortionist violate that message every time they dismember a baby. The comparison is ridiculous," Rev. Frank Pavone, national director of Priests for Life, said in a statement.

One of my friends asked,
"What sort of Christian Church gives a 'Late-term abortionist' a position of leadership?"
The degree of "messed-up" thought in this world is staggering.
