Yes I KNOW

It's been almost a month since I posted anything. I don't know why I can't seem to make myself post something. I have no excuse.

Early this morning we were awakened by horrible yelping, barking and animals screaming. Pretty certain a whole pack of coyotes were attacking and killing one of our neighbor's dogs. It only lasted about 20 seconds. At the end, it sounded almost like hyenas and then one lone long wolf sounding howl.

Poor doggy.

Hi, Beautiful :-)!
START BLOGGING AGAIN!
I read what you said here and thought about how difficult it's been for me to want to blog, too. I have to admit that when I think about what's causing that, I think it's feeling SO disheartened. there's so MUCH that's blog worthy but WHY BOTHER, really? WHO CARES ?
And the Left will chew it up and obfuscate, and show us why we're losing out country.
UGH!

Sorry Ed, but Z wins the comment of the day. You need to study her technique.

Z... I care. Rita, this reminds me of a time a few years back, that I was awaken by this woman screaming and crying and pounding on my door. I couldn't get back to sleep with all that noise, so I let her out.

Admit it Coffey. You really are only posing as Coffey, You're really Bob aren't you?

No way two people can have that same warped sense of humor.

Perfect. Sorry about the dog, watched that happen to a neighbor's dog when I lived out in the country.Conditions were bad and food was scarce and the coyotes took him off his own porch as the kids saw it all from inside. I got my Savage and did a little coyote hunting that night.

Hi Brigid. Thanks for coming by. We live in the country suburbs, so you hear about them, but haven't really had any neighbors affected by them before.

It was just so eerie. We knew there was nothing anyone could do since the sound was coming from our neighbor's backyard that is five acres long. And it was obvious there was a whole pack of them.

The worst part was that hyena like sound when you knew they had finished him off and were fighting over their meal.

We kept expecting to hear our neighbor yelling or something, but we had our windows open that night and they may not have heard it.

Can't imagine what's it like witnessing that in some safari.

Of all the horrible ways to die, this one comes in first. I think this might be the ONLY thing I'm not afraid of happening to me.

Compared to cancer though....I might choose coyotes.
