I'm disgusted that it ever made it this far. And even more so that a handful of African-American friends of mine on FB who are educated enough to know better are convinced it was the wrong verdict.

I know what you mean Dave. I really didn't believe the races were that far apart until Obama took office.
Then it was never about his policy, it's that I was a racist because I believe in smaller government.
I never would have believed that 50 years after the civil rights movement we are now so much farther away from peaceful race relations since electing a half black president.
This may set a precedent.
Not a legal one, but a societal one.

They are still at it this morning on the Today Show. Too much profit in the race industry to stop now.
And yet they aren't seeing the irony of the story they are airing now regarding dangerous concussions caused by head injuries in football.
Last time I checked, they didn't play football on cement without helmets.
It should have never gone to trial. The DA originally wasn't going to trial, but MSM and political pressure forced him. Not to mention that most of the prosecution witnesses actually helped the defense. Glad it's almost over. Still have the race baters to shut up, first.
Zimmerman would not have been arrested, or gone to trial, if not for the black pressure. and since when is our legal system supposed to answer to those not interested in justice?
When asked if it would have been different, if a black guy had shot a white guy on top of him, pounding away, the Defense Team said "Yes. It would not have gone to trial in the first place."
Try wearing a Zimmerman t-shirt, and you'll get the crap beaten out of you by the ones wearing a Trayvon t-shirt. YOU HAVE NO RIGHTS.
Uhhh since we now have a white Hispanic do we also have a whte black president?
